Violin remains the most popular choice of orchestral instrument for young beginners. Students delight in being able to transfer skills learned with their teacher to playing in ensembles in their school and county - duets, quartets, chamber groups, orchestras.....the sky's the limit!
And don't think for a minute that the violin is just for kids - we have had plenty of adults pick up the bow for the first time, or dust off the case from the attic after years of not playing. It's never too late to play music! Our teachers will focus on all aspects of playing the instrument - posture, performance, reading, theory and listening skills. Experienced students may even regain their enthusiasm for music through private lessons with us - there's nothing like good progress and a sense of personal achievement to re-stimulate interest where it has been lost!
