Music
is Fun (3½ to 5 years)
You
can give your child a head start to music with the Forte
"Music
is Fun" course, which along with all the other musical
activities (singing, games, percussion), introduces piano
skills. Young children love music and have a natural
ability to respond to it.
In Music is Fun we build on this natural ability and interest,
introducing many musical concepts in a creative and imaginative
way.

Junior
Keys Course (4½ to 7 years)
In
our Junior Keys classes, each week your
child will learn a little more about music and playing the
piano as they join in the many varied activities. Tried and tested teaching methods ensure
that lessons are inspiring and fun, while positive peer
pressure through learning with others sustains interest and
increases self-esteem. There is no time to get bored in the
action packed weekly.

Piano
Keys Course (8 to 10 years)
Our
Piano Keys beginner course progresses at a faster rate making
it suitable for older students aged 8 to 10 in fun classes and
is the course adults and teenagers follow in a private lesson. Everything
from jazz to rock 'n' roll to classical and contemporary styles
is here for you to play!

Dum
Kit (age 8+, any ability)
at Cardiff only
At
Forte in Cardiff, we have made an exciting addition to our
range of music tuition with the introduction of class drum kit
lessons. Our group Drum Kit lessons follow the Forte Philosophy
of being fun, fast paced and educational.
Lessons
are taught in groups of up to 3 students, making learning fun
and interactive as well as developmental and
informative.
Along
with teaching technical skills and theory, the course also
covers: Live performance, pre-production, groove studies and
world music studies.

Guitar (age 7+, any ability)

Forte, guitar students can follow the exciting Rockschool Guitar
Course.
The Rockschool Guitar Course is designed to make learning
fun. Using popular music styles to cover all aspects of guitar
playing, it develops the expertise needed to play the tracks
of today, yesterday and tomorrow. Along
with teaching technical skills, Rockschool develops music
reading, listening skills and general musicianship.
The Rockschool course is suitable for all ages and levels
of ability. Practice at home is made fun and more exciting
as tuition books come with a backing CD.

Forte Cardiff, we offer fun violin tuition for any ability and
in groups of up to 3 students.

Coffee
Keys (Adults, any ability)
Coffee
Keys is a more informal way of learning for adults. During
term time, for 1½ hours, each Wednesday morning (in
Cardiff) we run a session for
any adults who want to learn more about playing the piano
or extend their current skills. You may be a complete beginner,
you may want to improve your skills or you may want to learn
a little more about how to use your keyboard/digital piano.
Whatever your aim, we’re here to help. Almost forgot
to mention…… coffee and biscuits included!
There’s no need to book for Coffee Keys, which is currently
run at the Cardiff School only - just pop in on a Wednesday morning at 11am to our
school in
